How to increase my HP?

I wish this was going to be a how to, but it’s really a question, What is the best way to increase my hit points? I recently went into an instance with guilies and yes they are 70’s but is the hit points between 60 and 70 that high? I’m sitting at like 3400 HP, I’m made sure most my gear has high agility and my Cit is like 16% but do I need to rethink some of my gear and work toward a higher HP, being a rogue with only 3500HP I can sometimes get hit once or twice and I’m eating dirt.. any suggestions?

Yes the jump in HP between 60 and 70 is that severe. Up to 60 you didn’t get much stamina on PvE gear but you got lots on PvP gear. Now stamina is given out much more freely and HP levels grow pretty quick. As long as you aren’t dieing too fast don’t worry too much about your HP and especially don’t compare it to level 70s in blue or purple gear. But if you are getting hit only once or twice and eating dirt I am not sure what you are doing wrong, my 64 Warrior doesn’t have much more HP then you and the plate>leather difference isn’t that severe. Are you fighting things your level? I will try to remember to look at your armory link later tonight but I don’t think that HP level is really that low. Also if you are being hit on in an instance then vanish or feint to make the mob target someone else. Saving vanish for a wipe isn’t always the best option since vanishing clears threat and doing it when you are being beat on might actually save your party from a wipe.

Bernard, thanks for the comment.. When I say I’m dieing, it isn’t when soloing, it’s when I’m in an instance way higher than myself and fighting mobs 3+ levels than me, so when they hit, they hit with 2000+, and I know they were killing me because they were higher level, but I was looking at the difference I saw between level 40-50 or 50-60 and it wasn’t as huge as HP and other stats from 60-70 looked. I guess I was just seeing if I was on the right track or if I was way off.

I looked at your armory, great gear from ZG btw, and it appears you are doing pretty good and on track for level 60. Only spots I noticed possible problems was your head and feet, head has int and your feet are just old, but neither is really crippling you and will be replaced in outlands quick enough. As a reference take a look at my wife http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Perenolde&n=Sarea she is now 64 and already has 5600 HP and was lesser geared in some areas and better in others then you are so probably about the same.

What you were experiencing was lots of crushing blows (1.5x damage) which happen when mobs are that much higher then you.

Curbob or Conjude as he's know in World of Warcraft has only been playing the MMO for about a month, so yes he is a noob! Even with a background of free beta testing other online games and working for Epic Games on Gears of war as a game tester, he would still consider himself a noob compared to people that have been playing WoW for years now. So sit back, relax and learn with him, because at some time we are all gaming noobies!
